The American College of Cardiology have released a free online handbook on transcatheter heart valves for residents and fellows training in both cardiovascular medicine and cardiothoracic surgery.
The handbook is a fantastic resource that covers the basics including valvular anatomy, standard wires, and fluoroscopy; step-by-step guides for various prostheses and approaches; and current trials. The handbook is intended to evolve as do the transcatheter technologies as well.
